What We Did

Safer At Work is a campaign between the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation and Los Angeles County. Launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign provides creative assets to help businesses across the County communicate to their employees and customers the critical steps they are taking in order to operate as safely as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Challenge

The pandemic upended our everyday lives and had a particularly profound impact on the business community. LAEDC needed a stylish and sophisticated way to distill complex health guidelines for employers so that they could provide accurate messaging to their employees and customers.

Our Approach

LA County has a rich history of sign-painting, and we built on this historic medium to create hundreds of posters and graphics for businesses to use to message COVID-19 safety. Distributed through our website, partner organizations, and local businesses - Safer At Work builds a shared sense of responsibility in the effort to recover from the pandemic. We designed Safer At Work to feel accessible, comfortable, and community-oriented.
